Dear Ak, Editorial in The Source + Answer letter (1993-94)

Shame on Kierna for thinking the beat on “I Luh Her” was so-so. Editorial from the Source attacking Akinyele in december 1993, and the answer from the artist two months later. A few years later Ak shared his feelings about that journalist on the long-shelved Break A Bitch Neck.

    Oh my gawd where has this site been? You guys did good, real good. The site is easy to navigate and the scans are clear and vivd. I’ve been wishing and hoping for site like this for the longest time and guys did one better. Well done and kudos. I was wondering if you take article requests? How about classic hip hop quotables will you be posting those anytime soon?

    odb’s first lp
    the roots – especially illadephhalflife
    a tribe called quest’s 1st 3 albums
    any other 5 mic, 4 and 1/2 mic articles
    Thank you for not keeping it exclusive to The Source. Man you brought back some memories though for real.
